U-Pick Flowers
Opening Summer 2027
The U-Pick garden is being planted and prepared now, and it opens next summer. Nothing on this page is bookable yet. If you'd like to come wander the rows in 2027, join the list below and you'll be the first to know.
Wander, Choose, Gather
Our U-Pick is all about enjoying the garden, choosing the flowers you love, and creating something beautiful of your own.
Your cup is yours to fill. Pick as many stems as you can fit, choosing from whatever is blooming beautifully in the garden that day. With so many colours, shapes, textures, and varieties growing through the season, no two cups will ever be quite the same.
Small Cup
$25
Large Cup
$35
When It Opens
The U-Pick opens in summer 2027, Wednesday to Saturday from mid July. The picking hours are still being set, and they will be posted here before opening day. Nothing is bookable before then, so please don't plan a picking visit this year.
This fall we're adding more growing rows, building a pergola where you can sit and put your bouquet together, and placing more benches through the garden, so there's time to slow down and enjoy the space while you're here.
The flower stand, meanwhile, is open right now: Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm, closed Sunday.
U-Pick Questions
What to expect when the garden opens in 2027.
When exactly does it open?
Mid July 2027 is the plan, Wednesday to Saturday. Seasons swing a long way on PEI, and a cold, wet spring pushes every grower on the Island back a couple of weeks, so the opening date gets confirmed closer to the time. Join the list below and you will hear it first.
How does the pricing work?
You buy a cup and fill it: $25 for the small, $35 for the large. Pick as many stems as you can fit, from whatever is blooming that day. There is no per-stem counting.
Do I need to bring my own snips?
No. Clippers are provided, and you will be shown which rows are open for picking that day.
How do I know what to cut, and where?
Every row is being marked with what is growing in it and how to cut it properly, so you can take your time and wander on your own. Some flowers keep producing the more you cut them, and the markers will tell you which.
Where do I park?
On the farm, never on the road. There is a second entrance being opened up with room to park off Callaghan Road, and it will be signed by the time the U-Pick opens. Please do not leave a car on the road itself.
Is there a washroom?
Not at this stage. There is no washroom in the garden, so it is worth planning around that before you drive out.
How do I pay?
Cash or e-transfer. Cell service and Wi-Fi are patchy this far out, so cash is the surest thing to bring.
What is the ground like?
This is a working farm. The paths between the rows are grass and the rows themselves are dirt, so expect uneven ground underfoot. Sturdy shoes are a good idea, and after a rain it can be soft in spots.
